Telecommunications Technician

We seek talented employee who enjoy learning new skills and isn’t afraid to tackle big projects.

Job Responsibilities:
 This position entails interaction with representatives of building owners, general contractors, electricians and other subcontractors in the construction projects.
 Installation of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) components as per design plans.
 Daily progress reports (format could be verbal or written depending on the instructions per project)
 Other duties as assigned

What we require:
 Must be 100% bilingual (fluently write and speak English and Spanish)
 Applicants must be dependable, self-motivated and ensure that stays productive,
 Applicants must have the ability to work in a team or independently, and to solve problems quickly.
 Must know how to use hand and power tools.
 Maintain thorough knowledge of, actively practice, and promote safe working conditions in
accordance with OSHA
 Must also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push, pull, or carry heavy objects as well as
be able to climb ladders and work in small crawl spaces.
 Must have reliable transportation, a valid state driver's license and a good driving record
 Show attention to detail on all jobs
 Clean professional appearance
 Ability to interact and communicate in a professional and positive manner with customers, project managers, county officials, general contractors, etc.
 Must be capable of interfacing with AHJ for inspections.
 Clean job site daily.
 Must be available to travel to other cities as projects require.
 Background check and drug test required.
 Must have at least 3 references

 Hardworking
 Punctuality, respect and integrity are paramount
 Knowledge of how to read DAS construction plans, layouts, etc.
 Experience using Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, BDA commissioning interface
 Knowledge of BDAs alarm annunciator cabling and setup
 Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments

Previous work on DAS is a plus, as well as electrician or low voltage license.

On-the-Job (OTJ) training will be provided on specific wireless test equipment if the applicant doesn’t have the experience with such.

The position begins as soon as possible. Opportunity for permanent position after 90 days.

Hours: full time as business need grows
